Hello people, I'm in the pantry again with another attempt to update my blog. It's our lunch break now. Time is limited so I'm just going to reflect on the most recent events in my life. =)
1. I transferred to a different account. From XM Satellite Radio, I signed up for Capital One - a financial account. Same company but different clients and customers. This also meant a change of workplace. I now work at Robinsons Pioneer at Boni. Today is the third day of our product training.
2. I got regularized last May 23, 2006 - the sixth month of my being a call center agent.
3. My salary for the month of April was P30,000. Taxes totalled to almost P10,000.
4. I returned to my life as a gamer. I started playing all kinds of games - O2 Jam, Ragnarok (international private server), PJ from yahoo games (it's the puzzle thingy). I also purchased Guild Wars Factions.
Woops, gotta go now.
Back to Training.
Ciao!

Speaking of Food

I've been eating a lot these days. That's one of the things I love and hate about having money.

I never skipped any meal ever since I got hired. I ate anything I wanted, anytime I wanted it. My loose jeans and pants now fit me. I think I gained a couple of inches on my waist. But I'm not sure if my health is getting any better.

Just yesterday after work, my friends and I decided to have breakfast at Something Fishy (eat all you can for Php 80). After that, I thought my stomach was going to burst. We took a little walk and ended up checking out Pinnacle Gym (it's just across the street).

I've been doing push ups and some exercise before. But I think signing up for and going to a gym would be much better. Gym equipments and classes, Wall Climbing, Boxing, Saunas, Jacuzzis--all in one building (for a price, of course).

Right now, I feel the need to improve my health.

And I miss mum's cooking.

The Midnight Feast

I overslept last night -- a reason to miss the company's Christmas celebration. It was my intention to attend the party (who would say no to free dinner?), but sleep got the best of me. I decided to jog instead when I woke up. After my exercise, I took a bath and prepared for work.

Free food tastes good most of the time, specially when you're hungry.

When I reached the office, I heard rumors that the food served at the party didn't taste that good. I really didn't miss anything.

Come lunch break, our trainer asked if we wanted food. There was a chorus of "of course!". So off to the pantry, we went. We feasted on seven boxes of pizza (Super Supreme, Veggie, and Hawaiian) and five liters of Pepsi. Delicious.

I felt perfectly at peace with the world.

All About The Money

Amazing.

I received my first ever ATM card the other day. I learned how to make the transactions. All I need to do is punch the right numbers and voila -- the machine would respond by ejecting a thick wad of money right into my open hands. Amazing, really.

I never had so much money in my entire life and I'm going to get more. I'm going to do lots of OTs and get myself promoted. Haha!

12 days to go 'til next payday. Woot! I don't know how long this would last but I'm sure it would keep me alive for the next couple of days.

My First Job

Today, I decided to make a new blog so I could document my boring life. My life took a sharp turn when I decided to get a job. Around 20 days ago, I signed up for a call center training. One week later I graduated and passed the agency's interviews and exams. They endorsed me to a call center at Eastwood the next day and fortunately, I passed. Great. So now, here I am, working, looking back and looking forward to my future.
